Since Miang's in the Kukai Foundation now, and she'd probably definitely know this, I figured I should just say it now, because trying to make it a whole big "No, you're kidding!" thing is stupid. xD Plus, if Krelian pretty much tells Miang everything he knows/plans, then she'd know this too.
So, um, just for the record: (Highlight because I feel like being a bitch.)
Makaira is, for all intents and purposes, an extension of Krelian. Krelian had Makaira created, then used Roth Mantel's ties with Vector to have him sent to Vector Industries as a "factory error," knowing that the Kukai Foundation would take him in with their regular shipment because they're big on saving misfits and all that stuff.
Krelian automatically sees and hears everything Makaira sees and hears--so I figured that's probably how he was able to keep an eye out for Elly and probably able to open the way for KOS-MOS to come in and retrieve her. And though Makaira and Krelian actually never met face-to-face before, they know each other since they share most of the same thoughts (if Krelian thinks of something, Makaira ends up thinking of it too). For this reason, Makaira considers himself an extended version of Krelian, and is pretty much betraying the Kukai Foundation just by being there...because if he hears anything about their plans in advance, so does Krelian.
Remember how Mary told Makaira she was going to get her armor back, break in, and retrieve Elly? (Well, after he coaxed her.) That's how Krelian knew she was coming, and that's how he was prepared to fend her off.
^ So that's what Sakura was talking about when she told Gaignun that Krelian was, in a sense, already inside the Kukai Foundation.
